Belated hello

Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Just noticed that I joined this great community a while ago w/o saying hi.
New year, new chance to change this.

Hi, everyone!  I am a Linux and BSD user from Germany (Nuremberg).  I started out with fvwm2 (on Solaris), went to WindowMaker, tried some other things like ratpoison, dwm, Xmonad, i3/sway, evilwm, cwm (OpenBSD), and of course XFCE -- my solid and reliable companion for years.  It has everything that I need out of the box, is low on resources, consistent, and customizable while still not overwhelming me.

I enjoy reading and learning from posts in this forum...
...and I appreciate the friendly and supportive tone here :-)

Re: Belated hello

Happy to have you onboard. Similar experience here - started my non-Windows journey on Solaris, latched onto CDE and then Xfce as a natural successor.
