I'm running Fedora 43, fully updated, with Xfce and Compiz. All is going well except for two minor issues. As I don't think they're related, I'll try to deal with them one at a time.
The first has to do with window borders. I have things set to use the SlateHorn_Green color scheme, and it works quite well with one exception: Thunderbird, my preferred email client, ignores my choice completely and I can't see any way to force it to cooperate. Suggestions?

No idea what Compiz is, but it sounds like you're having issues with your theme being applied to Thunderbird?
Are you having issues with entire Thunderbird or just window borders?
Is it a flatpak Thunderbird?
Do you have "gtk3-nocsd" package installed?

I have had other issues, but they've all been cleared up. Compiz https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compiz is a composting window manager that, among other things, gives you lots of eye candy. No, Thunderbird isn't from a flatpak, as I consider them a waste of space, but thank you for asking. No, I don't have "gtk3-nocsd" installed, and dnf can't even find it.

Somewhere in the settings of Thunderbird and Firefox there is a way to make them use the system theme so it matches. I forget where but it's there.
