Is there a way to change the debian lockscreen wallpaper with my own? There is no such thing in the Settings Manager and from my search i have found only sketchy methods that don't work.

Which lockscreen/screensaver are you using?

IIRC, light-locker uses lightdm settings. If you're using lightdm-gtk-greeter, there should be a lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings package that will let you change things like that. Or change the background= line in /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf. Make sure the image is in a global location like /usr/share/backgrounds.
