minimize specific window command

I would like to be able to add a string that minimizes an open terminal window only to a CLI command application. I don't want the terminal to close just to minimize and only in that particular instance. It's not listed as an option only maximize. Running XFCE 4.2 on labwc.

Re: minimize specific window command

I don't know exactly what you want or maybe you might not get exactly what you are after.

So I have two suggestions. See if at least one of them suits you
1. Make a new panel and add an item "Show Desktop". This way when you click on the icon, everything will be minimized
2. Have more than one workspace. Add a "Workspace switcher" in a new panel or a panel of your choice, then double click on that item to set up the desired number of workspaces. Afterwards you can leave only your terminal in for example Workspace 2, and browse the web in Workspace 1. To scroll between then, press Ctrl-alt left/right arrow
