Notification logging

I get frequent notification popups when using dosbox. It's kind of disturbing seeing devices disconnecting that I don't recognize. There is a momentary popup, not long enough to write down the device name. One such device name was HP-AIO...... With a series of numbers and letters. I realized my laptop was an HP and I have seen some references to all in one so it may be innocuous occurrences but I would like to know what is going on. There are other device names that I don't recognize at all. I was wondering if there is some logging I can turn on or it if it exists somewhere already. I only see the notifications using dosbox. One such popup shows battery charging so this seems to be a normal activity for notifications. dmidecode did not help in matching the HP name.

Re: Notification logging

HP-AIO is all-in-one printer/scanner. Don't know what it has to do with Dosbox.

Re: Notification logging

I suspected that but I don't have one. Why would I get a disconnect notification?

Re: Notification logging

Are you on a private network or shared wifi?? The printer would have to be on the network.

Re: Notification logging

It's a private network, that's what's concerning.
