i'm new of Linux World and I'd rather know about update of this d.e.
I have the distribution: Ufficio Zero Linux Minimal with d.e. XFCE

At 1st time I used in terminal:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

But I want know about uppdates: is there a software for search updates or enable notifications?

2
Is there a wiki tutorial for learn about XFCE newbie users?

Thanks for help!

You should be able to install the gnome software center (gnome-software) or synaptic to get a graphical interface to your package manager.

The official Xfce documentation can be found at: https://docs.xfce.org/. There may be other resources around the internet.

Re: Update Upgrade XFCE by terminal or software?

The Gnome Software Center will bring in a lot of gnome "stuff". It will work without issue though. Synaptic is a standard for debian based distros. To install either from the command line:

apt update
apt install synaptic

or

apt update
apt install gnome-software

The gnome software center also has plugins for flatpaks, snaps and firmware installs/upgrades.
With debian there is also "unattended upgrades". You can set it up for notifications or just let it happen automatically(I do not recommend this).

But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down
It's alright, when you find your way, then you see it disappear
It's alright....
