As noted in title, I have integrated the three items and successfully to boot. My three day system checkout is complete.
I just have this one issue. The Whisker app menu seems to be a tad slow. Maybe by design, I don't know.
As I navigate the menu and hoover over the categories, there is a slight "ms" pause in the display of the items between the mouses movement over the categories. I don't remember this being the case in my past experience with XFCE. Can this menu speed (responsiveness) be adjusted or is it is what it is?
Added later 6 h 05 min 02 s:
I realized that the XFCE DE versions I'm running is the vanilla version from the Debian repos. But I was still hoping there was a hidden configuration file where I could tweak the menu's responsiveness. After doing some side tinkering with the GUI configuration to the menu's properties. I was able to set the view in a way that makes the menu a little faster.
General tab = show as list, icon sizes = normal
Appearance tab = Menu: categories horizontal, categories bottom
Behavior tab = Default category: All Applications
Menu: Switch by hovering
I think making the "Default category = All Application" was the key in my experiment. Could be an icon caching thing going on.
