Can't Change Desktop Background

Runnung Xfce 4.20 on Debian 13 (Trixie) on an RPi 4.

When I try to change the desktop from the Settings I am getting the

Unable to load image from folder "(null)"

error.

Any ideas how to fix that or is there another way to set the desktop background?

P.S.:  Forgot to say the RPi is running headless, am using TightVNC server.

Its a known bug. See:

It was committed a month ago, and not released yet.
