Hi,
I have been a (rather) long time Xfce user. Started with Xubuntu 10 years ago, now use Fedora.
After upgrading from FC43 to FC44 (which upgraded xfce4-screensaver from 4.18.4-3.fc43 to 4.20.0-2.fc44), the DPMS settings for the Blank Screen are suddenly missing. I tried in Distrosea with FC43, FC44 and Xubuntu 26.04. When I now lock my screen, it will stay blank but on until the normal Xfce DPMS timeout (for example 10 minutes) is reached.
Is this a bug or has this setting been removed for whatever reason? I guess there is no reason for removing things that make sense, so maybe a bug?
It is absolutely required that the screensaver does not just blank the screen (which makes no sense whatsoever) but also switches it off.

Hello, welcome to the forum! Alas, I can't answer your question, but I thought I could share a related tip that might come handy.
I have a keybinding (in my case, Super+Enter) with this command: sh -c "sleep 1; xset dpms force off"
So anytime I want to turn the screen off, muscle memory makes it almost instant and I bypass the screensaver completely. Try, you may like it.
