Status Tray Plugin Added, But Won't Show in System Bar >SOLVED<

GPD Pocket 3; current Manjaro xfce; xfce4-panel ver. 4.20.7

Manjaro XFCE just did a huge upgrade--never good news--and it blew out Whiskers Menu (which I was able to restore), but Status Tray Plugin is in Items, can be edited, moved, but won't actually show itself. Wifi/BT both work without it.

As an aside, my GPD MPC2 just did the same Manjaro upgrade without issue.

Any handle to jiggle?

Thanks,
Jake

Status Tray will only "show itself" if there are items for it to show.

Wifi/BT both work without it.

You must have another tray plugin running. What does the following return:

xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -lv | grep "[0-9] "

Thanks, ToZ. Upon deeper investigation, it turned out that a broken Manjaro update blew out a bunch of /usr/lib/* and I couldn't find a way to reinstall them.

Just as well--Manjaro updates are becoming more and more like Windows updates, best-of-luck, heart-in-mouth, so I did an install of MX Linux xfce and things are swimming again.
