Email list has no valid TLS cert

It seems like the xfce@xfce.org mailing list doesn't have a valid TLS cert. I know that strictly speaking you can't expect that for mail, but this means a sender can't really establish with quite as much confidence they're talking to the right target. So it's nice to have, and some mail accounts enforce this if you check a more secure mode. I simply wanted to suggest you use a proper TLS cert. Since the website has one, often that can be used for SMTP as well, but I could be wrong.

For what it's worth, you can easily see the problem here: https://ssl-tools.net/mailservers/xfce.org "Hostname mismatch" and "Unknown authority", as in self-signed.
