hi there,
i'm using xfce 4.20 on Arch Linux.
Everytime i use the hdmi switch between my 4k-monitor and my 4k-TV,
xfdesktop keeps asking me 4x times the same question (see picture below).
Is there any way to disable the display change recognition?

Have you tried checking the box "Always auto-assign" before you make your selection. What ever the correct one is.
But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down
It's alright, when you find your way, then you see it disappear
It's alright....

Yes, i have tried all the options, but xfdesktop keeps asking everytime when i switch from PC to TV or TV to PC.
I also dont understand why the shown window always comes up 4x times at once.

I also have an xfdesktop dialog box displayed asking to assign an existing desktop icon layout to Default Monitor. I'm not using multiple monitors. The dialog box appears after I unlock the monitor. I am also using xfce 4.20 on Arch Linux.
