[SOLVED] Submitting new Xfwm themes

I have made 4 Xfwm themes for my personal use. I have been using them for the past 4 years.
They are intended for dark-mode desktops, and different DPI settings.
All four themes are, in fact, the same theme adjusted for various "DPI" sizes.

The most important principle when designing them was usability, i.e. I strived for exceptionally high usability.

They are derived from Linux Mint "Mint-Y-Dark" theme, by applying some effects and changes by GIMP.

Would such themes be useful to the Xfce project, and should I submit them here?

Would Xfwm themes still be usable by the upcoming Xfwl compositor?

I don't think a support forum is the right place, maybe publish them on https://www.xfce-look.org/ and go from there?

Re: [SOLVED] Submitting new Xfwm themes

OK.
But, it says nowhere that this is a support forum, nor do any forum visitors have any idea where to search for additional themes.

So, I think you should put up a sticky, at the top of this category, to explain:
- That this is a category for screenshots or support
- That new themes can be found at and submitted to https://www.xfce-look.org/

That is very important for users, and it should be prominently placed at the top of this category.

I only suggested that website because I believe that's where you will reach most people with your themes, that's all.

Re: [SOLVED] Submitting new Xfwm themes

I think its safe to post themes here, they are Xfce related, but also posting to xfce-look, as vm_x suggests, might get you better visibility.

Would Xfwm themes still be usable by the upcoming Xfwl compositor?

They should be, since xfwl4 is aiming for parity with xfwm4. There is also this bug report where it looks like they are working on ensuring that themes work properly.

Ok, Thanks.. I was preparing to post here for starters, but I can't find a way to attach a file (200 KB), or should I use an external service?

Use an external service and link to it. Perhaps xfce-look?
