how to fix "window buttons" plugin icons all being right-aligned?

I'm using XUbuntu 26.04, so xfce4-panel version 4.20.7, and all the icons within the buttons on the "window buttons" plugin are aligned to the right side of the button, this shows what I mean: Screenshot-2026-06-29-13-32-25.png

It doesn't change depending on which theme I use (atleast from the default ones), but I'm using "greybird", does anyone know how to change this behaviour to center the icons in the buttons? Thanks for your help! smile

Hello and welcome.

Do you have any content in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css that might be causing this? You could adjust that setting. Otherwise, you could use something like:

.tasklist button {padding-right: 5px}

...adjust the "5px" to suit.
