Hello, I'm using artix linux with runit, xlibre, proprietary nvidia drivers and, well, xfce4.
My problem is that:
a) Right after I click "suspend" (or close the laptop's lid), the screensaver should display until the system suspends. But this is just the symptom of my actual problem, which is;
b) After I wake it up, I'm met with either a black screen or the last instance of my desktop, completely frozen and unresponsive to clicks or keyboard inputs, plus my mouse cursor, which I can just move.
c) Because of this, I have to ctrl+alt+f2 and restart lightdm or reboot to be able to use the desktop again.
d) But when I set i3lock by default, for some reason, after I unlock i3lock, xfce4-screensaver's locker appears and I can unlock it and continue using the desktop just fine??
e) And after I set xfce4-screensaver as default, until I reboot the system, the problem is entirely gone
I have searched everywhere on the web, but nobody seemed to have the exact same problem that I do and I think I might be going insane at this point. No matter what I tried, that temporary solution (d) is the closest I came to resolving the problem.

Hey, in case someone has the same problem as I had had, I think I figured it out.
Go to settings -> Settings Editor -> xfce4-session and "LockCommand" (under "general") to an empty string.
