I'm running Fedora 44 with the XFCE desktop on my old HP Stream 11. I recently broke my arm and have had to fall back on voice typing for a lot of work, I've been trying to install iBus speech to text but have so far failed. The terminal says it's already installed, but I can't get it running. I don't see it in Input Method Selector or Keyboard, and don't see how to add more on either. Is this a Fedora issue or XFCE? Can anyone tell me what to do, or suggest an alternative?

Hello and welcome.
This doesn't sound like an Xfce issue. Try the fedora forums.
