Panel takes 5–10 seconds to become clickable after logging in

Hi everyone,
I am David, new member here. I'm running Xfce 4.20 on Fedora 42 with a single 1920×1080 monitor. Login is quick and the desktop appears almost immediately, but after every login the bottom panel is unresponsive for about 5–10 seconds. The clock updates, but I can't click the Whisker Menu, task buttons, or system tray icons during that time. Once those few seconds pass, everything starts working normally and stays fine until the next reboot. I disabled all startup applications except the default ones, created a brand-new panel, and even tested with a fresh user account. The fresh account doesn't have the problem, so it seems like something in my existing Xfce configuration is causing the delay. Before I start removing config files one by one, is there a log or debug option that shows what xfce4-panel is waiting for during startup? I'd rather identify the cause than reset my entire desktop configuration if possible. Has anyone run into this before?

Could be an issue with some panel plugin. Maybe some plugin that makes web requests, like weather, stocks, etc.?

When you created a brand new panel, did you also add your standard plugins on it or leave it blank?

Have you tried https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/debugging ?
