via a script

How to launch several applications with one command (via a script) with specified window sizes and location on the display? For example, mosaic (in XFCE)?

Re: via a script

A couple of options is to use xdotool and devilspie2. You can set the desktop, position and window size. There are plenty of examples here on the forum.

I use wmctrl, you can choose the workspace, the position and the dimensions.
