Xfce - weather update issue after system update
Greetings all,
Xfce weather update the settings disappear after system update and upgrade. I'm using Arch Linux and Arch Linux LTS and both machines do this. Usually the scroll box is empty and location is missing.
Today I also noticed my Xfce Timer settings had also disappeared.
I've tried clearing any corrupted cache files using the command below but I'm wondering are any of you seeing this happen to your desktops?
$ rm -rf ~/.cache/sessions/Tad annoying keep having to keep resetting the settings after each weekly update.

I'm not seeing any issue with the weather plugin on Debian Sid. I pretty sure it was updated recently as well.
But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down

Sounds like maybe the settings aren't being saved properly on logout?
Can you post your ~/.xsession-errors log file on a new start and login?
Also, the output of:
journalctl --user -b -1 --no-pagerMark solved threads as [SOLVED] to make it easier for others to find solutions.

The only problem being shown is that guvcview is crashing. There is nothing there about Xfce.
Can you try this - when you have everything running properly and the weather and timer plugins set up correctly, open a terminal window and run the following command:
xfce4-panel -sIf an error message is displayed, post it back. If not, restart the computer and see if the settings are saved and restored properly.
