Hi,
i use Xubuntu 24.04 on my very old notebook. Due to a hardware issue, the notebook only runs when plugged into the power adapter, but the battery must remain inserted, otherwise the notebook won't work at all. From time to time, the XFCE notification pops up saying that the battery is fully charged. This notification is unnecessary and should be turned off. I disabled both slider in "xfce4-power-manager-settings / appearance" But the notification keeps showing up.

Try Settings>>Power Manager>>General Tab>>Appearance>>Status Notifications. There is a switch to the right.
But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down
It's alright, when you find your way, then you see it disappear
It's alright....

That is one of the two sliders i've already disabled.

Try Settings > Notifications > Applications. Find the power-manager entry, expand it, and enable "mute application". If this doesn't stop it, then it must be something else sending the notification.
