lock screen once and forever

Hello there,
I'm running Xfce 4.2.0. on a Vector Linux 5.1 Standard - that is a Slackware based distro.
The problem:
If I lock the screen I can not get back again. It asks for the password and despite of giving it login fails.
The problem is the same if I use Fluxbox. (I don't know KDE for I do not use it normally.)

Re: lock screen once and forever

rm .xlockrc
xlock

It will ask you for a password "Key:" and then ask you to comfirm "Again:"
All you have to do is enter that pass not your user password
