The Beta 2 rocks! I have been using it now as my primary desktop since it was released on my Fedora Core 5 machine. The only thing I can't get used to is that you can't resize windows from the top using mouse..
Is there a way to make windows resizeble from the top?

It sounds like the theme you are using is not displaying the top-left/top-right xpm file that make up the theme, and are the bit you grab the resize. What theme are you using?

I cannot resize Windows from the top either. I'm using the Glider theme. Changing themese, even to the Xfce* themese, does not allow me to resize Windows.
I'm using Xfce 4.4 Beta 1.

i tried different borders, still the resizing from the top is not possible.
Is this supposed to be that way? I can resize from the top right and left corners though, but not streight from top.

You're right, I was thinking that you meant that you could not resize form the top corners
the middle of the titlebar is normally used for moving the window so resizeis not used for the top

There are other ways to resize a window, 1) the mouse by holding Alt+Button 3 (right click), 2) the keyboard where the default keybinding is Shift+Alt+Arrows (up/left/down/right).
I am also used to move a window with the mouse, Alt+Button 1, and the keyboard, Shift+Alt+Ctrl+Arrows

Thanks for suggestion, I have been moving windows using ALT+ left clik, but did not know about ALT + Righ Click...
So this solves the problem for me, however, I am wondering why windows can't be resized streight from top? I sounds to me no natural that windows should be resizble from all sides.
