What applications do Xfce user use? - Other

This is a continuation of an informal, unscientific survey done through the Xfce mailing list (see http://foo-projects.org/pipermail/xfce/ … 8530.html).

There are three other related polls for web browsers, mail user agents and office/productivity apps.

I voted "other" for emelFM2 (although sometimes it is Thunar that I use). Both are well done, in their own way.

Others:
mpd - music player
mplayer - video playback
inkscape - svg graphics although xara looking good
graveman - iso,data,mp3 cd burning. I've not look at xfburn yet.

XFmedia, i used to use mpd, i like the fact fact that xfmedia includes everything and looks nice.
I use conky for system monitoring and to show my Gmails, to do list, Seti status and results and important RSS

• Firefox, Epiphany

• Sylpheed Claws

• Gajim, irssi

• Mirage Image Viewer alias Mirage (http://mirageiv.berlios.de/index.html)

• MPD (mpc,ncmpc,gmpc), Xfmedia

• Xfburn, GnomeBaker (as long as Xfburn doesn't support DVDs)

• GVim, Geany, Mousepad

• ePDFView

Oh of course, I also use Firefox for my web browsing, might be added to others as well. Thanks for the heads up mmassonnet
It's also great to see that so many of us are using Thunar as the main filemanager
