xfdesktop not starting correctly

hey guys,

for some reason when I start up the xfdesktop daemon is not starting up.

Also when i select jpg files for my background they wont work, but if i use a png file it works fine.

any ideas?

Run xfdesktop4 from a terminal and post us the messages printed out by xfdesktop4
