hotkey for show desktop?

Hello,
ist ist possible to configure a hotkey for the show-desktop funktion?
or is it possible to trigger the show-desktop funktion via a consale comand
so that i could set a hotkey with xbindkeys?

In 4.4, the default is ctrl-alt-d and can be changed in settings > window manager > keyboard. Dunno about 4.2.
