XFCE 4.4.99.2 (RC2) Desktop Icons

Am using Xubuntu Edgy  and recently installed XFCE 4.4.99.2 (RC2) via Graphic Installer. Everything went fine except that the Desktop Icons are gone and is unavailable in the Desktop Preferences. Please refer to screenshot attached. Is this a bug or am I missing something, a particular library required for compilation?

After updating 4.3.99.1 to 4.3.99.2 I have the same problem.

Is there a missing dependency?

I've compiled xfdesktop with different configure options. But every time I haven't any icon on my desktop.

Okay, I have found a solution for the problem.

I have installed dbus and dbus-glib. Afer rebuilding xfdesktop I have my desktop icons.
