Hi
I have a gentoo system and I'm currently using XFCE 4.2.3.2.
I use notes mainly for tips. And now I can't see them ... To disappear I simply do:
1. Create note on Desktop 1.
2. Go to Desktop 2.
3. Click to appear notes .... (and they are gone, no notes in Desktop, even after restart
First: Where are they stored ? What's the problem ?

Maybe it's time to upgrade to Xfce 4.4.0. There are quite some improvements in the latest notes plugin, but it's not compatible with the old panel api.

Are you using the latest version anyway, 0.11.1 that is on Xfce 4.2.

For now, update of the XFCE is out of question, it will be released soon (hopefuly) an updated ebuild on Gentoo.
I tried the xfce4-notes 0.11.1, the graphics changed, and there is some options more, but it has exactly the same problem.
I noticed the plugin says that I have 4 notes, but where ???, I can't recall them as before, where are my old notes ? I had ~12.
Where does this plugin stores information. I think i can recover from a old backup.
