hi guys,
i recently installed XFCE4.4 on ubuntu edgy...the thing is when is log into XFCE, i get this bug buddy error report

and after that nothing happens...i just have a blue screen...i can logout using alt+f4 though...
i did see some other thread about the same problem but it was not solved.....somebody pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase help me.....im sort of feelin weird after havin gotten used to XFCE...

It's indeed a commonly posted backtrace, but it's not Xfce related. Well actually there are no Xfce related applications/libraries in the backtrace. You probably want to try the Ubuntu forums for this one (and please post the solution/cause if you've found one).

hi guys,
u need to do thsi to solve this problem
-->ALT+F2-->xfce4-panel
this pulls up the program launcher and starts the panel....
once the panel comes up, go to
Settings-->Sessions and Startup Settings-->check the "Automatically save session on logout"
and then logout and login back again....
voila..ur good to go..
