Bulk rename - and image information

Hi;

Does anybody know how I can use the Bulk renamer tool to rename images - ideally using the date and time they were taken (I.e. Exif date taken)

Much appreciated,
Marc

If you select > 1 file in Thunar and press F2, the bulk renamer pops up. You can also run Thunar -B.

Re: Bulk rename - and image information

Thanks for the reply, but I cannot see how I can use the renamer to:

10000.jpg   -> 2007-02-04--14:23:33.jpg     for example, where the date and time is the time the picture was taken

Thanks
Marc

Re: Bulk rename - and image information

You can't, because the renamer can only replace/overwrite/insert/delete etc, but it support plugins, so you can always extend it  ^-^
