Hello,
I understand keyboard shortcuts settings to launch application have moved from the "window manager" settings window to the "keyboard" settings window in xfce 4.4. The problem is i don't have any "keyboard" button in the settings manager. In the settings menu in the xfce menu there is a "keyboard" entry but when clicking it i get an error message "Xfce Settings Manager error: No such plugin "keyboard"" although the xfce-mcs-plugins package is installed...
any ideas?

You need the "xfce-mcs-plugins" package.

Are there any warnings printed when you run xfce-mcs-manager inside a terminal?
Start a terminal
Run killall -9 xfce-mcs-manager
Start xfce-mcs-manager inside the terminal
Start xfce-setting-show in another terminal window and click the keyboard button.
Do you have the <prefix>/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/keyboard_plugin.so file?
Are the libxxf86misc and xkb packages installed?
