firefox session restart

I'm using xfce4.4.0 on xubutu (Feisty development release, but this problem is common to any xfce environment. xfce4 s near perfect for my needs, but I have one niggling little problem.

I like to keep my functions on separate desktops (firefox on D1, termials on D2, etc.) and to have everything automatically restarted when I shutdown and reboot.

Firefox does not restart automatically. KDE, however, can automatically restart Firefox.

Using the autostart function does not work, because autostart does not specify the desktop. If I autostart Firefox, Firefox winds up on the last used desktop, in my case D2 since the terminals are automatically started on D2.

Is there anyway to accomplish an automatic restart of Firefox on a specific desktop?
