composite support on ati x1400

Hi,

I video card is ati x1400. When I enable the composite in the xorg.conf file. I saw the composite tab appears. After enabling them the is display are corrupt?

How do I troubleshoot it?

Probably a bug in X or the video driver. Make sure you're running the latest version. I don't think you can do something else about it...

I just found out that ati still has no support for composition, could aiglx or xgl help to enable the composite feature of xfce?
