Save window position

I've looked around xfce but I cannot seem to find a save windows position option, like there is in KDE.  It would be nice to save the position and size of a window so that when I start it again it starts with the same properties.  Is it possible?

What I know this feature won't come to XFCE. But you can use for example devilspie
to achive the same result.
