Linux on laptop help ??

Hello,
I installed xubuntu on my laptop asus F3JP, I wanted to know if there is a plugin made to control special laptop things.
For exemple, how to configure the effect of closing the laptop.
Under gnome you can configure if you want the computer to hibernate, to shutdown... when you close the laptop.

Is there a plugin xfce for this ?
