Manage Desktop setting changed by Firefox

Hi (first post)

I have just recently started using Xcfe, after using Windowmaker for some time.
I stumbled across an annoying problem.
I have just installed Debian Etch 40r1, Xorg, Xcfe and Iceweasel (Firefox) - all from stable sources. It seems that every time I shut down Firefox, the setting "Allow Xcfe to manage Desktop" is turn off.

Any reason why this could be happening?

Thanks
Buggy

Re: Manage Desktop setting changed by Firefox

Does it also happen if you use the real Firefox rather than the Debian version?

Re: Manage Desktop setting changed by Firefox

Hi

Sorry about this - feel like a complete idiot.  However this one is weird! roll
Somehow I accidentally manager to turn off the following setting:

Setting Manager -> Desktop Preferences -> Behavior->Use system font size.  What I wanted to do is set the desktop icons to None.
Doing this somehow affect the the "Allow Xfce to manage desktop setting" by trun it off when browsing certain pages or turning Firefox (Ice weasel) off.

Go figure

Thanks
