after screen resolution change windows are moved

Hi!

I have default reolution 1280x1024 and when I run some program (or game) which changes resolution to some lower one (e.g. 640x480) then Xfce moves all windows that are placed behind the lower boundary to the left and top to make them visible. But that is annoying because I have gkrellm and some desklets on the right side of the screen and after this I must move them by hand all the time back to their original positions.

I didn't have this problem in Ubuntu Edgy (xfce 4.3.99.1) it appeared after update to Gutsy (xfce 4.4.1).

Any suggestion how to prevent the automatic windows movement?

I'd also like to disable this feature for the same reason. Can it be done? (FWIW I'm using Xubuntu "Hardy Heron".)
