I am a total newbie to all this so please bare with me as I try to learn.
I had the windows all set up the way I wanted last night, then this morning it was reverted back (still with xfce) but the windows were set back to glossy. I tried to open the window manager but now I get an error saying:
These settings cannot work with your current window manager (Metacity)
How can this be fixed so I can gain access to the xfce window manager again?
Thanks
try to kill metacity process and run xfwm4
