Thunar video thumbnails

I've just installed Xubuntu 8.04 and I'm getting no thumbnails on videos in Thunar despite having all the codecs to play the videos.

Is this normal? I had assumed it was, and that there was simply another stage needed aside from installing codecs that I had yet to do, but from talking to a Xubuntu expert he seems to think the thumbnails should be working and that I have a bug.

Let me know, it's driving me crazy.

You have to install thunar-thumbnailers and ffmpegthumbnailer

I'm at work at the mo and hence not on my Xubuntu machine, but I'm pretty sure I've got those both installed, I'm sure I saw them both ticked in synaptic.  :-|

I'm on Xubuntu at the moment. It is creating thumbnails! Could it be that I needed to restart the computer or unmount and then mount my media drive before it started the process? Because it definitely wasn't doing it the other day.
