Changing default file manager

I'm using xfce in Sidux and have just discovered a pretty cool twin panel Krusader alternative - xfe file manager. Thunar is ok but this is better  cool

How can I make this my default file manager? Is there any way to make the "home" and "file system" desktop icons open in xfe rather than in thunar?

Re: Changing default file manager

Just remove the tick where it says "allow xfce to manage the desktop'

Hopefull your new file manager has capabilities to create desktop icon shortcuts and such

also to creat panels I did this with Rox-filer and I'm so much happier now
