Chnage Desktop on Acer One using Linpus Linux

I just bought an Acer One running Linpus Linux (Lite?).  The xfce desktop has been changed by Acer to show only 4 boxes (groups) on the desktop, each of which is filled with icons linking applications.  I know that the "original" xfce desktop is not set up this way, but rather has an open desktop (like windows, KDE, etc). I would like to get rid of the 4 groups on my desktop and set it up like the default xfce desktop.

Can anyone help me change the default desktop back to the way it was intended to be run?  I need to know what files I will need, where they go, or how to open/unlock my current desktop environment so that I no longer have 4 groups on the desktop.  I would like to have something similar to KDE.

Thank you for your assistance

Re: Chnage Desktop on Acer One using Linpus Linux

I have a similar problem with an ACER computer.
How to add or modify or delete an icon on the standard desktop.

Thanks per advance.
