Problems when changing Theme

Hello

I try to make my XFCE a little nicer, and installed some themes and bunches of gtk-engines (the ones the themes need and some more).

But if I change the Theme, only the colours change, nothing else!
Always standard scrollbars, buttons, fonts, window decoration etc.

Any ideas why this happens?

What is the version of gtk + and gtk-engines is using?
What external engines is using?
What especifical themes have this problem ?
What is you linux distribution and version (if is posisible) ?
