Xfce4 panel...

Hello everyone! smile

I'm running Xfce4 under FreeBSD 7.0.

I'm new to Xfce and I want to ask you about the Xfce4 panel and more specific - how can I make my panel look like this one here:
http://www.lynucs.org/index.php?screen_ … 4&p=screen

I'm talking about the panel at the bottom - with the Firefox, mplayer icons, etc..

Thanks in advance! smile

P.S.: Glad to be part of the Xfce community smile

Re: Xfce4 panel...

You can't. That panel at the bottom is not Xfce; it's Avant Window Navigator. If you want to run AWN, check the Avant wiki for more tips on setting up your environment.

I'm not sure that FreeBSD has a port for AWN, so you may need to do some searching. Or just compile it from the source tarball; be sure to pass the "--with-desktop=xfce4" configure option to get rid of the Gnome dependencies.
