Hey,
First off I am pleased using Xfce4 so far. Because of it lightweight but yet good looking.
On Pentium 2 systems. .
Everything working fine so far.
Now I want to make it so that people can't change the background other then the basic.
Is there a way of doing this? I looked up Kiosk Mode but I still can't figure it out.
I tried setting rights with chmod on the /usr/share/wallpapers but that didn't work either.
~/.config/xfce4/mcs_settings/desktop.xml
I am running OpenSUSE11, with included XFCE4.
Thanks
Jean-Paul

I just did chmod a-rwx on desktop.xml
and I was still able to change the default wallpaper. After logging out I noticed that it turned back to the default wallpaper, so changing the rights seems to have worked.
I guess I clapped to soon, because somehow it reset the default -rw-r--r-- rights on dekstop.xml ....
:? :?
