How To Wrap Desktop Icon Text (ala GNOME)?

An empty file named "This.Is.An.Example.File" is created on /home/user/Desktop. The icon text appears as "This.Is.An..." and not "This.Is.An.Example.File" as I would prefer. How to wrap icon text to display the full file name?

Does not appear to be possible with 4.4.3. Xfdesktop appears to only allow for opacity and coloring of icons/text.

Even though Hopper looks and feels more like GNOME out of the box, text wrapping still not enabled :-(  .
