Problem customizing xfce4-panel..

Hi everyone...I've been using xfce4 on my Acer Aspire One for quite some time now...I want to customize my panel...I've read some tutorial but with no success...

here is my gtkrc-2.0

style "panel"
{
bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = ".panelbackground.png"
fg[NORMAL] = "black"

}
widget_class "*Panel*" style "panel"
widget "*Panel*" style "panel"
class "*Panel*" style "panel"

Btw: I'm not using a gtk theme...I'm using xfce theme...I don't know if this is related to it...
Any help would be appreciated...Thanks in advance  smile

Re: Problem customizing xfce4-panel..

You can configure your panel graphically, in the xfce configuration you have an icon for the panel and right clicking on it will bring some options.

I suppose you want to do something harder than this, but just in case this may help.

Maybe, if you want to do something harder, you could look for information about how to develop themes for xfce. I have no clue of how is that done, but may be what you are looking for.
