what does your green man do?

In the main menu there is a green man icon (it may be different depending on the theme). The point is that the icon is associated with the command "quit", however in my account the action performed is different from the other accounts. In the other accounts it will show a menu to restart, turn off or log out, in mine it doesn't show any menu, it just logs out to gdm.

I would like to change this behavior to the normal one, but I wouldn't like to reset all my configuration.

As I said, the command performed is quit, in every account, yet the results are different. I tried to execute this command from a terminal, but it is not found.

What can I do?

Thank you very much.

Re: what does your green man do?

Is that user in the correct group(s)?  Read http://wiki.xfce.org/faq#session_manager , mainly the part about using hal/dbus

Re: what does your green man do?

As easy as checking the option "prompt on logout".

Thank you, I think I would have never found it alone.
