Help, i don't know how to (solved)

access my cd & dvd drives? So, that i can use a picture of my Wife as a background...Which i saved in a cd which is in the cd drive...I'm using Debian Lenny and xfce amd64...

All inserted media, cd/dvd/usb, should show up on the left pane of thunar.

You could/should install thunar-volman and set it up through thunar>>edit>>preferences>>advanced>>configure. Just tell it what to do when a particular type of media is attached/inserted. ie:insert music cd and xfmedia will open.

eriefisher,, thanks, problems solved....As soon as i downloaded brassero and it installed itself, my cd appear on the desktop and open the cd through desktop settings or manager and i was able to place my wife's picture on the desktop...Again Thanks...
