Is it possible to set maximus width size for a tasklist bar? If task title become longer than minimum width (which can be setted in applet option), tasklist bars width expand twice. In XFCE 4.3 tasklist bar width stayed fixed and task title simply cutted. This behavior is acceptable too.

I answer to join myself to this request. The behavior of the tasklist differs from the previous version and is, in my opinion, a bit strange. A minimal width can be set, but not a maximal one. Thus, opening new window eventually lead to panel growing, until screen width is reached.
Moreover, the buttons of the different windows occupy now the full width of the tasklist. It used to be fixed in width until maximum size of the tasklist was reached (then shrinking).
Both new behaviors are ok, but it would be great to have settings to choose between old and new behavior (well.. if we are not just two, and if developers agreed...).
Thanks for the good work.

I would also like this feature added/restored. It feels very strange when the panel changes size.
Example:
I keep XChat minimized to the notification area. If I click once it opens and the panel changes size, this prevents me from just clicking again to close again.
I have used Xfce 4.6 for a few weeks now and I must say that I like it very much. Thanks for all the good work!

I also would like to see this restored. It's annoying me a lot.

I've made a request in a bugzilla http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5194
