Floppy hide desktop

Greetings friends:
I wonder if using the configuration editor, or by some other alternative, you can remove the floppy disk icon on the desktop. When the properties of the icons, remove the removable media away from the desktop and the flash memory disk, and I just want to disappear floppy ... Is that possible?

Hi...
I disabled my floppy from bios and now it doesn't appear, but maybe you can obtain the same result editing fstab file.
