squeeze or xarchiver

Hi ! this is my first post here. so.......

the thing is, i install xfce archive plugin with squeeze and xarchiver and both have the same problem with rar(with passwords) and 7z files, hang ups my X system......the problem? i dont know......try to reinstall but nothing happens, in console works fine commands like unrar x
by the way, i use slackware 12.2 and the packages of xfce are from slackbuilds

something to try for you... just quoting

hi..

I know maybe it could be late.. but have you tried installing those packages? They are both from the slacky.eu packages repository (in my opinion, the best place where to find good packages). I had the same problems with xarchiver 0.5.2 (slackware-current) before installing them..
I hope they'll help you..
